Awesome self is a 6 week online Movement Course 

 

Step into your most awesome self! Improve strength, Mobility, Fluidity, Coordination and use your body as an instrument to do more of the things you love.

 

The course is about movement, however it’s bigger than this, the practice that you will come away with will enable to become more grounded, healthy and happy.

     COURSE OVERVIEW

The Awesome Self movement course is broken up into 13 episodes that are roughly 20 minutes per episode. Each episodes focusses on a specific theme or concept of movement.

 

       THIS INCLUDES

  • Holistic principles of health

  • Building energy Through movement 

  • Posture and alignment

  • Mobility

  • Fluidity

  • Floor work

  • Co-ordination

  • Upper and lower body strength 

The course also provides advice and guidance to form your own movement program, we also include example programs with specific sets and repetitions and how to progress your movement practice.

 

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

- GYMNASTICS RINGS - purchase here 

ACCESS TO FREE WEIGHTS - including barbell or dumbbells. 

The lessons are outlining primal patterns such as the squat, lunges and deadlift, to teach correct technique and form. No weight is required, but if you’d like to advance in this area some equipment would be helpful.

TIME COMMITMENT

The content in each lesson and the prescribed exercises would require about an hour per lesson to go through at a slow pace pace.

 

I would recommend spending 30 minutes per day each week on the content covered in 1 lesson and if you have more time you can chew through 2 x sessions per week with about an hour per day to practice.

This course is designed to go at your own pace to suit your lifestyle and be sustainable to continue.

 

REQUIRED FITNESS LEVEL

There is no specific level of health or fitness required to take part in this course, you do need to have the ability to moderate intensity and go at your own pace.
